City of Miami Beach Boat Ceremony

On March 23rd we held a boat naming ceremony to express our gratitude towards the City of Miami Beach, for their generous support towards our Adaptive Rowing Program. We have become a well-known training site in the US for para-rowers; a rower from California has recently joined our Center to train with one of our champion rowers, for a chance to compete at the Rio Paralympics. In honor of the cities support we have named their “double” boat after the City of Miami Beach. Para-rower members and the junior team members joined us at our ceremony, while we recognized our appreciation towards the city for providing a foundation for our success.
