World Class Rower in the making at MBRC

Veronica Toro Arana was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

She graduated from MIT in 2016 where she learned to row, and is currently a Medical student at Stanford University.

She has been under the guidance of experienced Coach, Eduardo DeCamillis at MBRC since April 2018. Her objective is squarely focused on being the first Puerto Rican female rower to compete at the Summer Olympics in Tokyo 2020!

Veronica is already competing at international events winning Gold in the W1x at the Central American and Caribbean Cup.

Her future plans for this upcoming year are to compete at: Central American and Caribbean Games, World Rowing Championships, and Qualifiers for the Pan American Games in December.
