Miami Beach Rowing Club

Miami Beach Rowing Club, part of the Miami Beach Watersport Center, is hosted by Ronald W. Shane Center.

Miami Beach Rowing Club offers several ways to get involved with the sport of rowing. Known as the ultimate team sport, rowing can be experienced in team boats or smaller single and double person boats. Regardless of your age or skill level, rowing is one of the world’s best exercises. The Miami Beach Rowing Club offers learn to row sessions and memberships for adults and youth. To join, you must have rowing experience, have completed a Learn To Row Session or taken private lessons at the Club. Please contact us for the current fees.

The Center is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Center’s mission is to promote amateur watersports and offer opportunities to youth in the community to participate in the programs regardless of ability to pay. Financial scholarships are available for families in need.

Dr Ronald W. Shane is the primary benefactor of the Center and the Chairman of the Board. His vision was to create a resource for rowing that incorporates the ambiance of the water and its surroundings for the community.
