MBRC Annual Award Ceremony – 2021
It is another bittersweet moment for MBRC as the season comes to a closure, but we have much to be proud of. The Covid19 pandemic and the uncertainties during the past year were ever present. Despite the adversities, our athletes kept their heads down and pushed forward with their rigorous training routines preparing for competition.
Sweet because the 2020-2021 season was one MBRC’S most successful to date. The team was exceptional at the FSRA State Sculling and Sweep competitions medaling in numerous categories and bringing home 1st in overall team points at the Sculling Championships and 4th at the Sweep Championships.
Bittersweet, because we are losing our seniors who are all embarking on the next step to universities around the country. We are extremely proud to have had the opportunity to be part of their lives. We hope they will take lots of good memories and the friendships they have made during their time at MBRC. We wish them all the best in the future!
